Reader R complains that The 7.30 Report's guestbook was ignored by Auntie for more than ten days in the run-up to the Federal election of blessed recent memory.
In Auntie's defence, don't you realise that when the audience is getting over-excited by an election campaign the normal objectivity of the ABC audience response is tainted by partisan contributions? Auntie wants to save us from ourselves.
You can tell when there is partisan commenting going on. There are all these comments from people to the right of Labor's left.
In any case, what kind of masochist wants to be seen in one of Auntie's guest rooms.
