HEADLINES AND DEADLINES
As the national election draws closer it's not only Auntie's partisanship that becomes more blatant (see post below).
This is Henny Herald's headline today for Mark Latham's policy on Tasmania's forests (mainland 'heritage value' forests are not covered).
LATHAM WILL SAVE THE FORESTS
And the timber jobs too, under plan to protect Tasmanian trees.
I like this refusal to spin the Labor Party's spin on its policy. It could almost be a form of integrity, but for the fact that John Howard's policies are headlined as the prodigal products of a cynical vote-buyer.
It's not too late for Henny to even-up its books.
HOWARD WILL PROTECT AUSTRALIA
And capture bin Laden too, under plan to work US alliance in Australia's interests.
HOWARD WILL SAVE MEDICARE
Government policy offers choice and security, as Labor backs 'one size fits all' medicine.
Go on, Henny. I've got lots more you can have for free.
