OH NO! It seems collectivism finds the internet, that paradigm of libertarian practice, fertile ground.
Web journalists are way more left than their print equivalents.
And the Web group was more likely to identify with the Democratic Party (50%) than journalists in general (37%), less likely to affiliate with the Republican Party (6% vs. 19%), and less likely to classify themselves as "independents" (26.5% vs. 33.5%).
Worse, they're richer.
the median income for online journalists is significantly higher than that of traditional print and broadcast, and job satisfaction is higher than print, but about the same as broadcast journalists.
