UNTO THE SECOND GENERATION goes the influence of Islamist extremism.
Eight British nationals have been arrested, one only 17-years-old, suspected of involvement in the commission, preparation or instigation of a terrorist act. Police left no doubt that they regard this as an extremely significant operation revealing a chilling find.
And that means time is up for our own Islamist preachers: al Hilaly, Omran and Zaoud.
We can't wait for the nominal leaders of law-abiding Muslims to get on board.
Even the startling news in Britain hasn't moved their leaders to join the right side.
MASSOUD SHADJAREH [Islamic Human Rights Commission in London] : We are getting report after report talking about Islamist terrorists. Associating terrorism with the fate of law-abiding Muslim citizens who are in the reality on the side of fighting terror. And this is totally outrageous and unacceptable and counter-productive.
