HOW HARD IS OUR AUNTIE?

Why can't a left-wing think-tank be called a left-wing think-tank if a right-wing think-tank is called just that?
Why is the mastermind of a religiously-motivated terrorist organisation a "spiritual leader" and not a terrorist mastermind? Or just a "leader", if you want to avoid a fight. The Beeb goes further and calls him "spiritual figurehead". Look, mum, no hands!
Why is a "man in a wheel-chair" beyond responsibility for his murders, as Max-weird McCutcheon instructs his listeners on Australia Talks Back? Dr Strangelove was in a wheel-chair.
